What beautiful tones and isolation of this striking green orchid so nicely composed. I love the vignette of coved darker tones as well as the touch of texture framing the floral and its buds on the other side. Such rich details and textures to explore. Lovely lit showcasing and rich mixed media skills.

I love the simple red rim of the flower. The way it stands out against the many shades of green. The soft glow of the photograph brings added loveliness to an already beautiful flower.

Wow this one could be a painting with the use and capture of colour and shadow - a beautifully taken picture of a gorgeous plant slowly beginning to emerge into bloom, a great snapshot of nature! love it.

This seems perfect for the contest. The orchid is gorgeous and indeed most shades are green. Those shades of green are enhanced by the sufficient light and the perfect mixed media treatment while the red markings of the inner petal draw the eyes. The tall framing is exactly what this creation needed for its perfection.

I am in awe of how well you work with layers. I think that takes skill and artistic creativity which you have an abundant supply. The lighting is very attractive and flattering on the petals and leaves around this flower. I like how the unopened buds are lit up too. The background colors compliment the scene nicely and the burgundy color on the flower jumps out front and center.
