Beautiful capture of this Barbet. Your focus so sharp capturing all those beautiful details of the feathers. The colors on this beautiful creature are exquisite and just seem to blend nicely with nature. Your photo is framed nicely and shot is well composed. Your background and DOF compliment your overall photo. Truly a lovely shot and thanks for sharing!

A beautiful bird perched in a natural looking setting. The composition/cropping is excellent and the colors are very nice. I like the catchlight in the eye and the detail in the plumage.

Such a large beak for a little bird lol. I like the colors and sharpness of the feathers. Good contrast and framing of the bird and the angle of the branch also. Great jobð???ð??»

Yep, at the zoo - otherwise I would never get to see birds like this. I don't think I'll ever get to South East Asia!
Thank you very much for the review and your nice comments :)

Grace, although a very attractive bird with some great looking features, it appears to have some over adjustment to the focus.

You must have to had zoomed way in to catch this and I totally understand that. :)

Colors are true and very pleasant. Keep going girl :)

It's the way it saved - looks over-sharpened. I dont think it compressed properly :(
Thank you for letting me know!

in that case, go back and retry and upload it again. Let me know and I'll go in and change the rating ;)

I did - I has also saved it as a png (too big to upload) I ended up having to soften the jpg!

You don't need to adjust the rating! I value your opinion and whatever rating you think it appropriate -truly- : ) No hard feelings at all about a less than five star -no worries :)

still having problems uploading? if you take your largest side (vertical or horizontal) and make that 1100, it usually uploads very nicely.

The problem seems to be the way my software is saving the photo. I have it set for the lowest compression but after I save it I get all these tiny green dots throughout the image when I zoom in on it and zoomed out it makes the sharpness look like it's increased like crazy....dunno. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I have to go back to work in about thirty minutes so I am going to have to look into more tomorrow. :) Thanks Eileen! For being so nice and for listening to me vent about my silly issue!

Its not silly at all. we have all been there one time or another. Keep trying, I'm sure it will fixed soon.
