The story I know nothing about but if this is the couple....wow what an awesome couple they portray. They fit together. They look as if they belong together. Wonder what they are thinking looking out at us with their beautiful eyes. They have so many thoughts running through their minds. I wonder why they ever started an adulteress relationship to begin with. There are always underlining reasons no one else ever knows. This couple you have drawn here are just gorgeous. You have done an excellent job...their face....his cheekbones, their lips, their hair (his dark and unruly but sexy and curly and a little on the wild side; hers long yet more unkempt and perhaps brought together in the back with some kind of a barrette. Their noses; their eyebrows; their lips....somewhat in a pouting but serious type of manner. I love everything about this. For Feb it just might make it to number one....if not, then in the top three for sure.

Love the expressions over their faces - there is a grand story there. I know nothing about the story but I am gonna do a search. Great lighting, perfect detail but it is the expressions that capture me! Thanks for sharing and good luck!

Wow! This is a very powerful piece and I think you did a really nice job capturing the desperation in their faces and body language. Your good artist notes help to tell their story. You have brought these two to life on your graphite paper and pencil. The facial features and expression, details, along with blending and shading with pencil are excellent. You have captured my interest and I will have to reread their stories. Worthy of a six star! Talented art work and thanks for sharing!

Wow...what a drawing! Better than black and white photograph. The hairs are subtle. They're adorably done.

Well done and thanks for sharing.

Nice composition, actually looks a lot like Jim Morrison of the Doors. Great pencil work with lovely shading giving them form and texture. Her placed behind him adds depth and nice jobs on the always difficult eyes with yours having lots of life in them. Well done!

This may be a 'blind' entry for the contest, but when I saw the quality and detail of the work I was fairly certain I knew who created this wonderful drawing. A quick check of your profile proved I was correct. Your talent never ceases to amaze me. 'Tristan' reminds me a lot of the character 'Jaime' on the TV show 'Outlander'. And Isolde - so beautiful, I am mesmerized by her eyes. Outstanding work - as always!
