This seems like an interesting concept. I like the different colors together. The few drops of the yellow and green really stand out. I am a very young new artist and I think I would like to try this. Thank you for sharing this lovely piece.

Thank you very much for your lovely review. I'm sure you would like this technique - it's fun not knowing what shapes are going to appear through the paint. Also, if you drop a few grains of salt on to wet paint you can get some interesting effects as the paint dries. I hope you try these different ideas. Suzanne

Hi Suzzanne, I think this really shows what a creative mind can create just by dropping paint onto paper. After the splashdown of the paint you saw the magic of what was within. I think you did a GREAT JOB! VERY Nicely Done! :o) Helvi

I love the soft ocean blue background with gorgeous soft pastel colors of the many varieties of flowers.
What a nice story to go along with this lovely painting Suzanne.

Many thanks, Neil, for your very nice review. Yes, my little grandson enjoyed his painting session and hopefully we will try and get one in each week. Best to capture little one's interest early! Suzanne

I absolutely love this! And what a delightful story. Thank you very much Suzanne for your time spent with your artist notes. As a grandmother..I can feel the love you enjoyed with your grandson...and great grandma too! I wish we had a picture of that!

This is ingenious and and very artistic. I thoroughly enjoy looking at the shapes of the colors first now...instead of imagining you filling in your flowers. And as someone who has attempted art now and then ... I can see that your artistry began with your choice of colors and with your placement of those. You began your shading before you had figures on your paper. And even left some white!

A beautiful display of an artist's mind and talents from step one. Amazing in every way. I'm so glad you posted this!

Handsome composition - just the perfect softness in diversity and bliss. I love the heavenly soul garden you created - excellent color choice . handsome use of space, a magic flow of light and flowers in perfection like fairies - I also love the impression that all is flowing and that the frame does not stop this wonderful flow - excellent job, well balanced, harmonious in color choice and arrangement - well done

Every inch of this paper is covered with soft beauty. Your idea is brilliant, with remarkable results. My favorite part of the picture is at the very top center, where it appears to be sky shining through.

This is beautiful. I love the "softness" of the colors and the way the flowers seem to be floating. How wonderful it must have been to share the day, 3 generations together...wonderful. Would love to see your grandson's sailboats. Thanks for sharing. Happycamper

I find your picture relaxing with the pastel blues, pinks, yellows, whites, and greens flowers. For an exercise with your grandchild this was a real success. Have you ever tried painting to music with your grandson? We've done this with a pianist friend and the results are interesting.

Many thanks for your great review. That sounds a good idea to paint to music - I usually do when I'm on my own but we were too busy chattering when there were three of us! However, I think we should give it a go. Suzanne
