What a wonderful and pensive look Juno has. The reflection in the eyes lets us know what is being seen and capturing Juno's attention. I like the oval format as it isolates Juno so well. very well done as always Susan ~ Steve

Real nice take of Juno quietly staring out with forlorn look which reminds me of us when we just want outside to take in space and fresh air. Just a beautiful line on positioning, great angle to bring out the perfect looks on markings and eyes. I once had a Border Collie named Rea and see many a similarity on this dog,. Is there collie blood in her?

    Dave,
Thanks a million for your great review from both Juno & Me!
Juno is we think part Wicklow/Border Collie, part Springer Spaniel with a good dash of possibly Jack Russell Terrier. Temperament wise she is more Collie/Springer until it comes to guarding her territory then you can see the Jack Russell in her but she lacks that annoying yap of the Jack & seldom barks unless it's a friend at the door.

This is such a sweet face. Excellent camera techs. Your clarity is perfect on the nose, and fur and whiskers and eyes...with just enough catch light there to not interfere with the brown color. Your success photographing a black face is enviable. As i have been trying that for years with a sprinkling of success.

I this your creamy color in the blanket and the circular 'matting' softens the overall capture and shows how much the pet is loved. I also like the bit of filigree in your frame.

Nice work! A pleasure to view.

Thanks a million for your great review on Madame Juno~Dog doing her favorite morning thing lying on my legs on her blanket gazing out at the garden on "Cat watch"...if she sees one she is out like a bullet out of a Gun but to-date the cat is always faster.

She really is one of the cutest dogs! I like how she was unaware that you getting her picture and that you managed it so perfectly under the circumstances! Great detail and angle and her eyes are beautiful.

Very nice shot of Juno. Focus is really clear on her face as the detail is easily seen from the wrinkles in its nose and the hair/ whiskers. Does she have white markings? Nice moment and thanks for sharing.

Thanks a million for your great review for your great review from Juno & Me!
She is a mixture of a Wicklow Collie/Springer Spainel & a small terrier probably a Jack Russell...
Her markings are those of a Short haired Collie Dog, in black & white with a little brown on her cheeks.

A lovely picture that encapsulates Juno's expression very well and very clearly, particularly with one hand!! a dog's expression can say it all and this peaks for itself. I hope he got out in the end when the rain stopped!! haha

My apologies, she! don't tell her I thought she was a boy haha. Our 4 pooches weren't so lucky and got drenched last night so Juno was the lucky one!!

Ah good, dogs don't stay mad long haha. Juno is a lovely name and very fitting too by the sounds of it! I look forward to more pictures of her in the future!

Susan, what a sweet face. You have really excellent focus here! Also really nice exposure with a dark subject. I love that you are so short from the front of the towel, to the nose and back to the eyes. Not easily done. Nice job!
