This old structure probably has lots of history behind it. I like the angle you used to show the depth and the back side of the roof. Lost a little detail in the cloud bank that a slight adjustment in either the aperture or shutter speed could fix, but the colors are very nice in the sky and there's good detail in the homestead.

Just minor renovation here and there ;)

Very nice Mary. Your colors are very nice and your clarity is superb. I would have loved to see more room around this old homestead, but that is just me ;)

A "fixer upper" for sure. I like the flat light that gives you such nice detail under the overhang. A nice tight framing that I might look at making a bit darker if I were going to print it.

Thanks Sean, could just picture this being advertised as a "renovator's delight" once again we had taken a wrong turn and came across the old place. :)

LOL.... nah.... I will move in tomorrow! Just kidding. This is a great technical shot. Focus perfection over the grand home... Great exposure as well offering up perfect rustiness and colors. Natural perfection. Thanks for sharing in the fun!

Thanks Debi, yep a real "renovators delight" our 1890 bluestone cottage wasn't this bad when we bought it but we are still renovating after 11 years :)

Another great find and capture as you are out traveling. I like the angle, the sharp focus and crisp details. I would only suggest running this through a UV haze filter or adjustment highlights to tone down the brightness.
Nice work Mary ;)

"Renovators delight" and for the "discerning buyer" are two terms they use here in Aussie land and believe me after 11 years of renovation it is not so delightful - bathroom, family room and mezzanine to go of our 1890 cottage. Thanks for your feedback. :) Mary
