A lovely and sharp (despite being through glass) shot at perfect timing with it singing - I don't know the one you mean I'm afraid but I'll trust you!! haha. Wonderful clarity which emphasises the subtle and complex colours in the feathers - lovely picture.

Hi Mike!
I'm not sure about the 'Birdie Song' but I'm certainly enjoying your fine portrait photo of this warbling creature among the thin branches!
It's another 'Good Show',my friend! : )

A very, very good take on the singing bird.

Camera technique is top bar.

The feather detail is awesome. Details of the head and beak are tack sharp and a catch light in the eye.

But what really attracted my eye to this piece is the subtle coloring of the birds feathers. When you look closely, you will see a rainbow of color in this birds attire.

DOF is correct for the frame.

An awesome take ... B-)) Bob

Great fellow - I'm thinking a little on the sassy side though. LOL Is it a sassy song? I have no idea about the song my friend. I may have once but... can't think of any right now. Your capture here is fantastic. Great detail, wonderful color and perfect lighting. Thanks for sharing!!!

Mike,
A beautiful profile portrait of this squawking Starling perched in the hedge calling to his friends to join in raiding your feeders! Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A fierce & candid capture with intense facial features & soft plumage textures.
Fantabulous feather colors.
He seem to seek refuge and protection in this area.
Sharply focused.
Good illumination.
Thanks so much my friend for sharing.

yep and he be singing..(music) I should have bought her flowers..of many things I should have done when I was her bird.."(music) oh I couldn't resist..wink. the clarity is great. the capture of the light is great. the angle of the shot of the birdie singing in between the branches is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall
