If the eyes did not have that baleful glow he might be mistaken for somebody's pet. A fine shot with nice detail in the fur.

Thank you very much! I don't see these guys in the wold though. I have seen gray wolves in the wild but this one is at the zoo. I spend a lot of time there in the winter :)

I am surprised by the size of his eyes. They are much smaller in diameter than I thought. Nice catch light in the eyes.

Camera technique is remarkably sharp and clear. Composition and framing are excellent. The DOF is equal across all the features of the Wolf.

Thank you very much! The eyes are much like those of dogs. I think the black pigment variant in these wolves comes from hybrid dog-wolf breeding. Thank you again for your nice comments :)
