This is wonderful Eileen. The light is simply beautiful providing superb catchlights in the eyes. Your exposure is excellent holding detail even in the brightest areas.

What I love the most is your composition. I love your tall crop and I think that you have left the perfect amount of negative space above the head. Very well done.

Lovely capture of the beautiful Gibbon sheltering in a barrel. I like how the sun is lighting up his fur as he gazes out at you. Excellent lighting and focus showing great clarity. Lovely composition Eileen. Suzanne

What a sweet face. I thought it was a chimpanzee. I like how all the browns of the photo blend and the black background accentuates his eyes. Excellent lighting and focus. You can see every hair on his chin. Well done.

This is such a great shot. I actually don't mind the angled beam in the foreground. I think it gently forces the view directly to that adorable face and expression in his eyes. The lighting of the fur and the barrel edge is also very nice.

Oh my goodness! What an excellent job! It does look good, but I didn't mind the beam. I guess it is a better view. Nice work - I can't tell at all that the beam was there!

This is a truly sweet animal, and even cuter when sitting inside an old barrel. I do however find the blurred wooden beam across the photo at the top a bit distracting. Personally I would have cloned it out, but on the plus side is how lovely the light is falling on the animal's face.

Your photo is nice and sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of the little face, and I also think the exposure is very good.

The cropping is working well and the siamang has got a fine placement within the frame. A truly sweet and well taken photo and with a very good DOF.

Eileen,
A beautiful picture of this Siamang Gibbon peeping out from it's shelter in what looks very like an old wine barrel in it's enclosure the sun shining down on it from above hi lighting it's glossy fur, beautiful little face & a look of curiosity it it's eyes. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
