This is a very interesting photo. I like how the butterfly looks reflected. Your focus, framing, and lighting area all good. You were very creative :) Well done and thanks again for sharing :)

    ???? what do you call reflected ?
reply by csimmons032 on 16-Mar-2017
    Sorry I didn't mean to say that it actually was reflected, the two butterflies in that position just looked reflected to me. Sorry for the confusion.

    I've seen your new avatar: every thing is so small, impossible to see any details;
    I would like to see a better pic of you....

It is a nice capture of two butterflies mating. The focus on the lower butterfly is good with details of the head but the butterfly closest is just to bright as the light hides its clarity. Nice moment and thanks for sharing.

Caught in the act! Butterflies can do no wrong even if what they do on camera is to some a no no :)

Great capture Fred with nicely lit butters with great green surroundings. Well done

Perfect timing. I would have thought the male would have been turned around, but I guess they know what they're doing. LOL It makes for a very interesting photo with excellent detail.

LOL - Well, I was gonna say some sort of bad girl thing that has to do with sex but.... I'll behave! Your capture here is grand in detail - focused wonderfully. I do have a bit of issue with the lighting but... not enough to be a pointer grabber. LOL Wonderful and sexy. ;-)) Thanks for sharing and good luck!

Supergold - Shame on you for sneaking up on a pair of butterflies in a moment of intimacy.

I can honestly say that through your lens I have learned something new today. I never knew how butterflies made more butterflies. Now I do. Thank you.

Camera technique, composition and framing are all high caliber.

The take tells a romantic story.

A wonderful capture, like it a lot ... B-)) Bob
