Beautifully captured subjects, the clearing sky, the heavy snowfall captured on the limbs of the pines. Tells a story, for sure at this time of year..wish I was there. Jack (orion65).

"There is nothing in the world more beautiful than the forest clothed to its very hollows in snow. It is the still ecstasy of nature, wherein every spray, every blade of grass, every spire of reed, every intricacy of twig, is clad with radiance."
~William Sharp

I think that about sums up what this is all about. Nature is beautiful in all its seasons, but the white and purity of snow untouched by man is majestic and beautiful.
Fine white balance control, great POV, fine colors and details.
Lovely capture Doc.

Well the forest Sange....lol...she's a tad over dressed this morning. Seriously though....Mr. Sharp could NOT have stated it any more eloquently...it is exactly how I feel when I look at my beautiful spot here draped in snow.....I am simply awed. Thank you so very much for coming up w/ THE perfect piece of prose for my image....and, of course, for giving it some sparkle of your own. I appreciate THAT as well.

Can see why you like the spot so much, the pastel coloring of the sky enhances the image nicely. Still looking very cold there imagine you are looking forward to the first signs of spring. :) Mary

Wow!! What a view in the background. I really love the look of nature in winter as long as I don't have to be in it. Enjoying the Southern climate too much. This photograph is extraordinarily gorgeous. What an excellent shot.

awww..such a nice review Mama. M. I actually like winter....I just think it's a tad too long up here where I live. I am easily done w/ it by this time of year....although, apparently, it is not yet done w/ us! Do always appreciate you checking out my posts and thank you again for the wonderful review of this one.
