A remarkable shot. The composition is beautiful and I like the shaded part of the flower. Of course the colors against that dark background are outstanding. Best of luck in the contest.

Very creative. The prism colors are so vibrant. The lighted petals of prism colors make it look like a separate flower is sitting on the shaded flower. Great job.

A beautiful picture of this White Chrysanthemum with the rainbow effect caused by the light streaming though the glass in your front door & lighting up a portion of this flower the dark background helping it to stand out in 3D from it.
Artistic composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
Good lick in the contest.

This is well done,,love the rainbow colours on this flower, nice black background, love that you focused on the lighted coloured part of the flower, a little bit of the petals show up in the background, really sharp photo

Isn't sudden inspiration a wonderful thing?
Regarding you comment about the latter part of the bloom being in shadow, I think you have demonstrated the logical conclusion of the white light spectrum. Which adds greatly to the appeal of this composition.
Your camera technique is excellent.
Composing this flower against a black background so intensifies the colors.
In my opinion this is a well thought out and inspired shot.
