An ugly bugger isn't he!
I know it is taken in the dark but the image isn't sharp
You need to do better than this to get a 5 star from me ð???
Thanks for sharing

Thank you for your review and time to write it up. The message to improve is inferred in the star ratings. I see you are new to FAR. I am not insulted or angered by your comment that I must improve. But some may take it as arrogant and snobbish. What is nice is in ways offered how I or a person might improve. I have learned so very much from this site. I know those reviewers that blow smoke up peoples arse's by a 5 star and it is a horrible shot. I have it most respect to those that tell me how to improve from their POV. Also there are even some here as young as 13. So we need to nurture the future and never know whom you are giving a review to. Blessings to you. You will totally love this site and the friendships made. Embrace and Enjoy~~~~~
Cindy Sue~ and yes! Ugly for sure~~~~

Thank you so much for sharing this great photo. My great grandfather had a wild opossum as a pet that he fed everyday. You have captured a scared specimen. Good job, and glad you walked away unscathed as they can be very violent. Thanks for sharing.

Nice shot here and well exposed, especially considering a night shot with an iPhone~ I really like the catchlights in the eyes. I like the tight crop. It is a tad soft, but understandable given the circumstances.

Quite the sassy looking fellow in your capture. :-)) Love him. Great lighting over that face to give us even more visual joy in the moment. Great detail as well. Fabulous capture for the contest, good luck and thanks for sharing.

I can't speak for all of the South East, but in East Tennessee, where I lived for a short period of time, the Opossum is considered a delicacy. Right up there with chitlens and grits.
Subject matter aside this is a very good take on a native marsupial.
Camera technique is superior. Catch light in the eyes, excellent detail of the fur, snout and whiskers.
Coposition and framing are on line good.
Good luck in the contest ... B-)) Bob

We had one of these things in our backyard once standing on top of our fence. It also was reluctant to move. They never seem to e that frightened of anything lol. Your focus, framing, and lighting are all good. Thanks for sharing :)

A remarkable (if not classically beautiful) shot. Very nice colors and fine detail in the fur. Good luck in the contest.
