Great shot and beautiful scene. I heard Vermont really got hammered. We got about 27 inches and I was not able to get the Jeep out of the driveway until Thursday evening. Stay warm and safe.

Hammered is right meg.....the plow had to send in the bucket loader first....lol...there was THAT much snow. Took them two days to even get to me.....spring cannot come soon enough as far as I'm concerned. Thanks so much for checking this one out and especially for sharing a gold star w/ it! I do appreciate it.

"Nature has no mercy at all. Nature say, I'm going to snow. If you have on a bikini and no snowshoes, that's tough. I am going to snow anyway." ~Maya Angelou

Well it seem Old man winter has its own agenda and schedule this year despite your yearning for Spring.
It's a gorgeous view with fine controlled whites and nice focus.
I like how the snow looks like Marshmallow Fluff exploded every where your eyes can see.
Nice capture Doc!
I'll take my fluff with a cuppa hot cocoa please :)

One cuppa coming up my dear!! Thank you sooo much for putting a smile on my face this morning w/ your review. You are a PEACH!!

a beautiful Christmas card all done by nature itself , a wonderful ambinace - fresh and clear snow creating a wonderland of winter. I love your framing and distance, perfect winter shot, well balanced, excellent focus, contrast and exposure, your lighting as excellent too as well as the color saturation, not obvious all in white, a beautiful nature shot, thanks for sharing

Oh THIS is nothing Lynn compared to the way it looks now. I have some monster snow banks now that the plow has come through. So...happily I am dug out and today the sun is shining....just gorgeous out there. You are a sweetie for going and having a look and I certainly appreciate the extra sparkle you shared w/ my snowy scene..... Thank you so much Lynn.

Wow! Your place is like a picture-postcard, very beautiful. I used to love the snow when I was younger and like to ski, but now I try to avoid it. Living in Florida helps with that! But I still love the beauty of a winter landscape, and this photo brings back some good memories.

Anyway- do appreciate you checking out my latest post and happy to hear it brought back some nice memories for you. Thank you so much for the lovely review too.

I am certain you are tired of the snow but look at the beauty in it.Very nice focus, white balance, depth of field and lighting for a cloudy day. Nice rich colors too. Reminds me of a Hallmark Card. Nice work and thanks for sharing. We had two days of snow, maybe 6" in all but the ground never really got covered because right before that it was close to 70 out there.

I'm so envious. We've had days of rain. You have two nearly identical firs, one on either side of your tracks. This makes a nice base for exploring the rest of the foliage and how it all comes together with a vision of white and green beauty. Lovely first and last impressions. Thanks for sharing and keep warm!

Beautiful wintry scenic you have framed. This looks like a scene you would find on a Christmas card. Beautiful focal detailing, exposure of your whites in the snow as well as appealing compositional strengths. Love the fall of light in the lower framing as well as the sense of atmosphere.
