ahahaha...just love the way you've titled this one Grace and such good notes you've included as well! I always appreciate knowing a little about the image the artist is presenting.
I know it can be challenging shooting through glass but you have done a really fine job there....in fact, between that and apparently VERY clean glass one would not even know there was glass there. Wonderful focus on that massive head of his. It is perfectly detailed allowing a much closer study than would be wise otherwise...lol Colors are nice and natural and your exposure is spot on perfect!
Nicely put together shot Grace and I adore your quirky nature!!

Thank you! I'm glad you looked at this one, I thought it was just too funny. I was not expecting the foot. I was all metered and focused on the face ready to press the shutter and tada, the foot appeared :) That has actually just happened a couple more times recently, with another bear showing me her feet and a bird photo-bombing some test shots. I think I emit some kind of vibe that intrigues some animals :) Thank you for digging through my portfolio and enjoying this one!

A pleasure Grace...your animal shots are really good and the 'tada' bit here....made me laugh!

Yes, looking at your nice shot here I can well imagine that it must have been a funny moment! Your good central composition provides us with a good look at your bear and location. Sharpness and exposure are good. Well done!

Like children ,animals never seem to wait for the perfect moment but this a natural moment and considering its taken through glass you did well.

Thank you! He did take me by surprise with that foot! :)

Aww, this is adorable. Such a fun shot with that paw sticking up. Your exposure is nice with good detail in both the highlights and shadows, Your white balance is very good. I do do wish the paw were in focus, too, but hard to do at f4.5. I also would consider cropping a bit off of the right to make the bear less centered in the frame. Well done though!

Thank you! Yeah, I was expecting the foot to come barreling out of the water :)

His own photo bomber lol
The exposure could be a bit better but a nice image over all
I would have cropped the sand off in the top to get an overall natural environmental look to make it a bit stronger

I hadn't thought of cropping the sand out so I did it just now and I think you are right :) It does look better but it doesn't leave much room at the top of the frame, still I probably should have tried that! Thank you very much for the advice and giving me a different perspective to keep in mind for future shots. Thank you!

Well the foot is a blur for sure but on the good side you did manage to get its head and fairly close up. I find your detail on the head says a lot that I did not know. There seems to be a crook in its nose but then you wonder if it got broken in a skirmish. Water seems natural too. For a bear with exquisite hearing, it sure has little ears. Thanks for sharing. I think I would skip the bear hug.

Thank you! I think the crook in the nose might be natural but I don't know of they vary in how much they are pronounced. Thank you for your nice comments. :)

Thanks for the great artists notes and your photo does tell your storyline! Good stop action and capture of the polar Bear's foot showing the magnitude and size. I love the movement in the water and good DOF. Your photo is nicely framed and well composed. Your focus, colors, details are good. Well done! Nice work and thanks for sharing these wonderful scenes!

Perfect timing of capturing his photobomb. Amusing pose with great interplay of lights and shades.
Centered framing.
Diffused focusing.
Nice perspective & narrow DOF.
Thanks for sharing...
