You are amazing. Your work is a bright reflection of your inner, deepest soul, your "Life". The colors incorporated into this piece, by themselves, would create that sense of awe and power, but the feelings generated by the darkness are definitely stirred up and brought to the serface of our beings. This is a winner.

HE speaks Through you. You allow HIM to bring Spiritual Water to the thirsty souls and Enlightenment to those on a path shaded by their Humanness. Your Gift is to recognize such things.

I don't know how I missed this work of art! The blue and rust colors with the deep rich textures of the architecture are wonderful together. As I have said before, you are a master of light! You have made something very beautiful and artistic out of a historical structure that others before you have simply photographed as common place without bringing out the true beauty of the architecture the way you have. This is a gorgeous representation of your creative skill and artistic nature.

I am almost at a loss for words Grace. To receive such a review and rating from someone of your level of photographic ability and artistic vision is more than an Honor. I am humbled that you appreciate my attempts to create those scenes that almost do justice to what the scenes truly deserve. Your review and comments give me encouragement to keep trying. For that I truly thank you Grace ~ Steve

IMHO, This image just radiates the power of the events that took place here. The angle of the shot and the filter you used is what I think brought that about. It's not JUST a picture of the Coliseum, it is the strength of the Coliseum which comes thru to the viewer. VERY NICELY DONE! A SUPER SIXER :o)

A very unusual and artistic shot. It looks like it is being hit with the last rays of sunlight passing though a rainbow. I like it a lot, and really appreciate the notes and history you provided.

What makes this capture so special is your unique POV and the angle you chose to take this at after sunset. I love the lighting, the details and the Gorgeous blue sky.
Steve, you have a gift of allowing your lens to become one with your soul exploring the ordinary and turning it into extraordinary.
Focus, perspective, lighting, Exposure, textures and architectural details are all magnificent.
Beautifulous Capture Steve!!

When I read your comments I started to tear up as I realized that what you said I had not realized or considered. You said the gift of allowing my lens to become one with my soul struck light lightening. I realize for the first time that that is exactly what I do. When I see a scene that jumps out to me (still not sure how that works), I do somehow become one with it, as if I am meant to be there. I can see and feel what the shot is supposed to look like and so I take a lot of pictures from different perspectives to hopefully catch that fleeting scene. Of course using the iPhone presents it's own challenges and maybe that is why I prefer to use it. It forces me to become that much more creative chasing after the scene that somehow Must Be Captured. Occasionally I get close. Sorry to go on, I had not intended to do so. Any way, thank you for the review and your spiritually insightful comments. Thank you for the extra sparkle and Especially for opening my eyes to that which I somehow knew but was not fully aware. I guess that is why I feel that you are so special Sandra (one of the others) ~ Steve

As an aside, just after reading your review and while dealing with all those feelings, I got a request from Tom (I guess he runs FAR, I am not sure). He wants to ask me questions about using the iPhone and will post them on Facebook. Who knew? I know I will now include "Becoming One With". LOL, he may wish he had never asked me ; )

This is a lovely night shot. The highlights on the Coliseum is beautiful. Not familiar with Old Master paint filter, but it made the photo pop. Thank you for sharing.
