Mary,
A beautiful picture of the Dusky Monkey relaxing on the branch of a Morton Bay Fig Tree. The white fur around it's eyes upper lip & chin giving it a surprised look. It's round belly gives me the impression she is a pregnant female. Beautiful composition, framing & beautiful dappled lighting, filtering through the foliage of the Fig tree. Taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Yes, he is definitely interested in something! Like your classical composition which provides a fine look at your monkey and it's environment. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done!

What an interesting looking monkey. I like seeing animals I have not seen before. The pose you captured shows his engrossed curiosity very well. He looks interested in what he is viewing. Your lighting and detail are nice. He is oddly cute!

I really enjoy the images you share Mary of your trip to the zoo....they have some really interesting animals there, don't they!
LOVE this little guy....what a face and you're right- he looks very intent on something so good job w/ the notes explaining what he was looking at. Now your photo....the leaves to the left of the little guy are absolutely spot on crisp and sharp....while he himself is a tad soft. Perhaps he didn't sit still for very long?? The colors are lovely and natural and photo is well exposed. Good notes and excellent title for your piece. It's a wonderful image just looks like your focus wandered ever so slightly off your subject.

A very nice attentive pose. I like the composition and the beautiful colors but the facial markings of this monkey really make the shot.

Zilyram - Look at them eyes! What a charmer he must be.
Your camera technique is spot on great. The DOF is shows sharp detail from front to back.
What really grabbed me was the hair line and the deep soulful eyes. He is well focused from head to toe, I can make out his toenails.
The details of the tree and its leaves adds greatly to the tenderness in this scene.
Color balance and color range compliment the scene very well. Especially like the way the light filters in through the leaves.
This is a very pleasing and enjoyable to look at capture, thanks for sharing ... B-)) Bob

It is such a nice image and the composition is great!!
It is such a shame however that the sharpness is on the left leaves and not on the monkey. Its face is blurred.
I am sorry, but it could be so great.
