Holy Sharp focus and awesome eye clarity Fred!
Great close up of this rainbow Lorikeet.
everything is working on the bird tech wise. I woud have only worked on the background removing that white spot near bill and softening the3 background. Yes..I know you do not do that..so high five it is!

It's amazing how creatures can have the entire rainbow on their body. I think it's just more evidence that there's a Creator behind all of this, not just some random process. The slightly blurred background brings out the bird and its colors even more, and the branch on the left adds weight to the photo.

He does look irritated. I like the way the leaves are turned away from him except for the two at the top and that he's standing at an angle adding interest. Your detail is always so good.
