yeah they heard there was a great meal over there..one lioness says "i think the critter is called supergold" ..lolol. just teasing. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of the big cats in the marsh is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

Great photo of these lionesses. I'm sure it wasn't an easy shot to get. The colors are beautiful and the blue water breaks it up. Well done.

supergold - This is a very well composed and framed shot of a lion pride.
Yeah I would have been a little uneasy about them being this close.
The capture has all the ingredients necessary to tell these lioness' story.
DOF goes on forever. Color and lighting are at there best.
I do like the cropping to a pano, it works so well here.
Well focused, details of the lions, the grass land and water bring it all together.
Excellent capture of natures big cats ... B-)) Bob

This is quite a picture of the lionesses crossing the river. I really like all of the colors and details in the photograph. I would have liked to see the lionesses come a little more into focus and stand out from the colors of the grass.
Great picture.

An amazing photograph that really captures the moment, in this wonderful wild environment that, as the caption states, the second one looks pretty angry and these things are not big softies! so an added element of panic ingrained in this picture, with good lighting, and decent clarity of all 3 lionesses, contrasting well with the blue & green of river & grass. Really good photo. :)

I like the landscape texture and colors in this image. I think it would be nice if the two lionesses in the back were closer to the front one (I'm sure waiting around for that shot would not have been a good idea!) but the direct eye contact from the middle lioness and the way the light emphasizes her eyes is super nice. I also think it is a treat to see them walking through the water and how you can tell how deep they have been by the water line on their bodies, especially on the front lioness.

You apparently follow dangerous paths on your travels on the water as well as on land. Your neglect of danger was rewarded once again with an exquisite photo opportunity. The angle of the shot is perfect show the low stand of water, the features of the lions and the features of the landscape. The crop to panorama has brought the lionesses into the center of interest with the leader in POV drawing our eyes. The photo is also through sharp and realistic in colors.
