Great initial impact. I love how everything in the picture is blur but Mr. Tiger here. He is so crisp and clear. But he looks sad to me. His golden eye's are so expressive. Thanks for sharing.

I totally agree. These tigers are indeed beautiful and I especially like that this is a straight on shot, and the fine eye contact you had with the animal when this photo was taken. Because of the soft background the tiger is also standing out in the most excellent way.
Your focus is spot on and sharp showing really clear and well defined details in every part of the animal, and the exposure is perfect.
The way you have cropped the photo is great and the tiger has got a very fine placement off to the left. This is indeed a beautiful and well taken photo Eileen, and with an excellent DOF.

eileen0204 - Yowza, what a take! This big cats eyes are looking straight into the lens.
In Africa the Lion is king, but in Asia the Tiger rules.
Your camera technique is superb. All of the main features of this cats face are so tack sharp.
DOF is perfect for the entire facial features.
Composition and framing are fine. AS is I will rate this as a Five. For my taste I would have cropped or framed the head more closely thereby reducing the background.
I think a closeup of the cats head from just above the ears to below the chin enough to see all of the chin snout whiskers, this magnificent take would easily rate Six ... B-)) Bob
