You are just drawn into this composition with those eyes. You are a master with your graphite pencil and colored pencils. I think I know who you are but haven't seen too many of your pieces with color. Anyway, I love this and it does indeed tell a story of this little gypsy girl and her hobby horse. this is so cute. its shame that they use great topics as being blind. i was told that since i am illustrator i should enter..after all these years no one ever listens to me ..i dont waste my time on blind. fanart is my base site while im name building thru here and 10 other sites. i dont have any worries about folks voting on the reason they know the artist versus the work. thats is childish and thats that.funny thing is the only time i have a chance of winning is commitee contest not member contest. if im lucky on member contest, i would get 1 or 2 votes so i cringe when i hear the excuses that folks come up about why blind contest are better. but i guess its to pacify the newbies who are trying to learn and more power to them. it just sux they do this on some good topics and not on the non blind contest. oh well it sux to be me but it is what it is i wont change..wink. awesome creation. the facial expression is great. the body form and language is great. the details is great. the shading is great. the depth is perfect. the touch of color is great. the creation is well balanced and very eye appealing to the viewer. winner work and good luck in that blind contest. wink

look i do so much reviewing i know majority of folks style..im bitching for my own self. have you notice that only the committee contest are always not blind. thats why i go for them. however when the fellow member do contest they either dont know they can cliick a drop down tab to choose blind or non blind or you have those few who have made the statements i have metioned. i get to the point the only ones i pay attention to are contest that pays real money but the topics are not always that great. so just consider me having my man rag for the moment. and shhhhh you dont have to tell me who ya are. i am glad your adding a touch of color do it more often..wink wink..

The eyes are what attracted me to this touching piece of art. They are so expressive - longing, sadness, pleading for something out of reach.
