A pretty beautiful white flower. Color contrast presents white as the main story to tell. Focus on the white flower is great. I also can see the yellow center.

Well done and thanks for sharing

I like the special effects you used placing the flower into the sphere. I also like how the dandelion made its way into your effect. The picture is centered nicely and great contrast in colors between the flower and plants.

    Joe,
Thanks a million for your great review on the Wood Anemone.
I leave a few Dandelions to flower in the garden because the bees love them.

You captured very nice detail and perfect color of the flower. The lines in the petals show off the texture and the center of the flower stands out nicely. The globe effect grabs the attention directly to the flower.

Interesting. At first, less so, but then I noticed the sphere effect. That ramped up the effect and brought more to the picture, almost as if a huge water droplet had enclosed it. For that reason, I give it a 5. Otherwise, it would be technically good, but not all that interesting.

A beautiful wildflower and a great image. I like the texture in the petals and the color of the stamens. The crystal ball treatment is less obvious than is usually the case.

You have indeed pictured this Wood Anemone well. One of the first tokens of spring also in Norway. In the forest only 10 minutes from where I live have huge carpets of these flowers in spring time.

The white flower is standing out so sharp against the green foliage and it is clear and well defined details to be seen both in the petals and the stamens. I also think both the white balance and the exposure is good.

Of course the flower also looks great when put into a sphere like this, and I like that you used the foliage as the very background. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo Susan.

Perfect capture over this bloom. The lighting and the colors are just fabulous so kudos on the exposure. You own the white in this image so white balance perfection. Love the artistry of the sphere and perfectly placed. Fabulous artistry. Fabulous capture. Thanks for sharing.

Impressive capture of this immaculate white floret with simple fine features & velvety soft textures.
Verdant overtone pops out the subject nicely.
Greet framing but better within a square format.
