You have used some grand technical power in this image. The lighting and the colors wonderfully natural to the scene and captures me perfectly. Great detail over the scene as well. Thanks for sharing.

Very interesting photograph. I am enjoying the large pallet of colors in this picture from the grasses below, to the dense brown of the apple tree trunks to the pine trees in the background this picture has a lot to see and study. Great shot!

I think it's great how even in the winter the natural colors in the trees and grass can retain their gradient-like color changes, and create a scene of a winter wonderland. The sharpness and detail make this innocuous patch of land look grand and show the beauty of natural during any time of year.

They look indeed impressive and they look as if dancing in the snow between amplified by the colored grass. What an amusing sight in the snow covered landscape. Even the gray sky seems to smile at them.

Maybe you have been living in isolation for too long when you start anthropomorphizing the apple trees. That "real" world out there is too scary for me too. A beautiful late winter scene, which is a rarity in my opinion. The light is perfect and the composition is excellent.

lol...that is so very perceptive of you mm. Yes, I've done the 'real' world bit and find I like this one so much better now.....so much more fun to anthropomorphize all the wonderful trees than to deal w/ the often less than satisfactory people. Always enjoy your reviews....this one was particularly insightful! Thanks so much for having a look mm.

You are quite a lucky woman to have such a wonderful and natural garden. The history side of things sounds quite fascinating. Your shot is well composed, sharp and has good exposure. It has all resulted in a very enjoyable winter scene. Well done!
