Great shot of the clematis, growing. I like seeing all of the color in contrast with the greenery makes the photo stand out. It is quite amazing how many blooms grew out of this!

And it looks like it was worth planting 20 years on! a wonderful cascade of these pink clematis flowing densely and wonderfully through the hedgerow, the clarity keeping the consistency fantastic and the multiplication like seeing it under a microscope. Great work!!

Fred, a pretty shot of some very pretty flowers.
Your grouping is nice with some great contrasts from the accompanying green leaves :)
Makes for a pleasant view.

Camera technique is optimal for the take.
The DOF, composition and framing of this beautiful plant overwhelms the eye. So much to see in a small space.
If the goal was to show the size of the 20 year old Clematis perhaps pulling back more would provide more scale of this flowering beauty.
On the other hand a tight shot of a bouquet of blossoms would provide the viewer with a detailed look at individual blossoms.
Just my thoughts.

the low rate is since I think the flowers are a bit over expose, mainly on the top left
also, there is no center of interest in this photo
thanks for sharing

Great capture - the strength for me of course in the color and the wonderful lighting. Such beautiful movement over the frame as well. This of course has me thinking about the 20 years worth of beauty this flowered bush has offered you. :-)) Joyful. Thanks for sharing.

Looks an amazing climber giving lots of spring color to brighten your day. Beautiful subtle pink coloring. Like the filled frame. Good focus and dof.
