Interesting pose with its neck laying on its back. Maybe he gets tired holding that long neck up. I'm thinking he just lifed his left foot creating the swirls in the water around his right foot. Great photo.

beautifully structured with the wonderful pose of this beauty.The black swan is rarely caught over here other than wildlife reserves ..and what wonderful plumage he has with that red bill contrasting well with the long slender neck line

love it, a very..unusual pose but it works for him,,the water reflections are ripples are great really add to the scene,,gravity doesnt seem to apply to this guy

I sense a lot of curvature in the photo, with the swan's head and neck leading all the way down to the way its rising foot is positioned, I just think that looks cool. The background looks great with its grayness bringing out the bright and dark contrast of the swan.
