Oh colored pencils are just the best aren't they James! I can't draw w/ mine the way you do but I just LOVE them anyway.

I like seeing your cathedral piece here w/ some color....especially the large red chest (red is my favorite color)...and the great gold organ. Shading work is excellent and really like all the brick work. Now THAT was a lot of little lines to draw wasn't it!

Had gotten a bit behind w/ reviewing so thought I'd come have a look James. Very nice work here...as always...especially considering this is just a preliminary piece....and hope no-one has been being mean!

I like this color version of all your hard work sketching the lines and dimensions of the cathedral. It's like looking at a filled in skeletal version that provides a new perspective. I like the multicolored effects on the pipes and how much detail that technique has produced. The various shades of the darker colors give the piece nice depth.

This is a really nice piece as rarely you see a cathedral or in colour!1 great depth, a little wonky joining the two rooms together, but good detailed work and a great piece.

Nice tonal ranges in this James, they lead the eye inwards and give "meat" to your art.

You also have good light and shadow playing here and the lines and patterns further give visual impact.

Impressive sketch. I like your use of colored pencils in this one. What brand did you use? I love the gold organ in this piece. The book is so nice, great add. Good job, thanks for sharing.

You're welcome. Great set, wish my mom could afford them. Until that day comes, I will work with my Prismacolor pencils, and markers.

A detailed study of the cathedral's interior with its great features and rough textures.
Subdued lighting!
Compact framing.
Distortions intentional?

Thanks for sharing...
