I'm really enjoying all the crisp detail you captured of this bee. The shimmering light on the wings is so attractive and stands out well along with the fuzziness of the body. He looks almost as big as the flower.

Now this one looks square to me. A great shot with beautiful colors that really pop against that dark background. Nice cropping and superb detail in the bee.

Hi Super, Love the position of the bee in the frame and the angle you shot from. The lighting created a nice sheen on the wings and the focus on both the wings and body is excellent! GREAT JOB in capturing the bee! :o) Helvi

supergold - I am sure the flower blossom is magnificent, I can't tell though because of the Bee. Frankly the Bee is what caught my eye.
The detail of the insect is magnificent. There is just the right amount of light reflecting off of the wings which give great contrast with the black background.
The DOF, composition and cropping is everything you need for a fine capture.
Kudos for a great take ... B-)) Bob

I like how close you were able to capture the bee with getting all its detail. This photo shows the beauty of nature that we normally don't see with our eyes, and I'm grateful we now have technology that helps us see parts of nature that are more intricate and awesome than we thought. The blurring of everything behind the bee helps bring out the bee's textures even further.
