a great composition and capture Mary;
I like when some people sometimes break the rule of thirds;a good idea to center the sunset framed by the boat masts;
good exposure with the sunpath on the water;

Mary a wonderful sunset shot with wonderful colors.

Your choice to center the boats and sun is of course your choice. Your the artist, your rules. I would have cropped differently but that is me and this is you :)

I never go against an artists views when they see something.

Beautiful scene Mary.

A beautiful scene with great color in the sky and a nice lightbeam across the water. It is a symmetrical looking composition which I might try to avoid.

This is gorgeous Mary!
Excellent camera settings from Exposure to focus!
You have superb clarity, fine use of natural light and two boats to frame it out.
Love the sun's glow on the water.
Do not be discouraged by the Rule of thirds police here not being used.
Your photo..Your choice of crop.
It's fantastic!
:)

    Thanks so much Sange, wasn't paying too much attention to Rule of Thirds I had tried cropping it to suit rule but didn't like so returned to original. So glad you like it not often I try this type of shot :) Mary

This is a lovely sight. The colors are soft and attractive. I like how you lined up the sun and the reflection in the center of the image. The boats make a nice contrast between the landscape and the water in the foreground.

Wow! What a stunning sunset! I like the elongated view of this phenom. The angle is perfect with the sun in between the sailboats, as if you placed them that way yourself! Perfect overall clarity and depth of field. Very pretty!

Fantabulous golden hour!
Warm illumination of the twilight's last gleaming on that horizon.
Pin sharp focusing.
Good perspective & long depth of field...
Great inclusion of these two sailboats against a distant island.
Dead centered horizon can be adjusted by cropping 1/3 of the
Skyline.
Reflection on the water surface accentuates the image aesthetically.
Thanks for sharing...
