What I like about this is that it's not a pretty picture; it's an interesting picture. The textures of the beach make for a unique perspective on a topic that's usually more of the same. Good eye. The depth of focus very necessary here.

Nice is your title and it goes along with your image very well. Nice is your capture of light and shadows and depth. Your composition has a great depth of field which just bring the eye right into your photography. Good luck in the contest beautifully done! Good camera techniques and perfect DOF! Thanks for sharing!

A very nice shot. It is amazing how the ripples remain in the sand after the tide has gone out. It looks like a land that goes on forever. Very nice perspective and good colors. Good luck in the contest.

The sand and shallow water make such an interesting pattern leading to infinity and the colors have a nice sky reflected tone that is attractive. Great title for this image. The angle and cropping give this scene a very artistic quality. The cranes in the background are also interesting to view, it was clever to include those in the frame :)

Just a wonderfully powerful pull into the frame... and all over the frame! :-)) The lighting aids in the moment and the color is nicely natural. Your photo captures the moment perfectly. Thanks for sharing and good luck!

At first glance I thought this was water and its waves, but now I'm trying to figure out what this stuff is. Is it mud? Well anyways the texture looks cool and I like how there's a hint of symmetry. This would make for a great design, especially if you can find a way to photograph this from overhead and a little further away.

I'm sure I've reviewed this before (perhaps with different lighting/filter?) but still a wonderful photo, showing the natural ripples created by the tide in the sand in an almost regimented pattern - lovely long DOF showing the sea and harbour(?) in the background that gives it a sense of ongoing-ness, a great picture, good luck!

Very nice beach shot posted here! Like your very dramatic composition concentrating on the beach with just a hint of other interest on the horizon. Sharpness and exposure are good. Well done and good luck!
