A beautiful arrangement of orchids. The color of the flowers is excellent but I am not crazy about the way it appears in the background. Nice details and attractive square presentation.

Nice composition with the drooping branch on the lower right and the drooping branch on the left giving excellent balance. Great focus, lighting and framing. The royal blue background is perfect. Well done.

A great, almost microscopic style image of these wonderful orchids, with the definition and detail so sharp and clarity of the whole photo excellent sitting against the blending blue background it shows real thought and work gone into this picture. Great standard, well done!!!

I fully agree Mike. The Orchids seem to last forever and they are truly beautiful. Personally I would have used a less vibrant background, but I know this is a matter of taste, and the flowers are standing out from it in an excellent way.
Your photo of them is nice and sharp and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in all the flowers. The flowers at the top has probably lost some because of a slight blow out. This is however not distracting.
The square format you have cropped the photo into works well, and it is a fine balance between positive and negative space. All together a lovely and well taken photo, and with a very good DOF.

Effective use of a visually soothing bluish uplight.
However, NOT your typical sharply focused floral captures I use to view here.
Diffused focusing with soft outlines & semi blown out petal tips.
Compact framing.
A bit tight on top.
Nice perspective & narrow DOF.

The color of the blossoms juxtaposed against the blue background compliment each other nicely.
DOF, composition and framing couldn't be better.
The camera settings you chose bring out the fine details of each of the blossoms.
To often where Orchids are concerned the emphasis will be a real tight closeup of one or two blossoms.
This is a refreshing departure from the norm".
