Wow, that one heck of a foot and those claws are alarming. Big time ouch with the impact of those. Love the light and detail of this shot. Amazing the scaling of this grizzly's foot.

I love how you caught the bear holding his foot up. Not only do you get to see the enormous pads of his foot you see the enormous nails on his paw that is holding the foot up. Great photograph.

This is quite an original photo, because it isn't often we get the opportunity to see the underneath of a grizzly foot. You have brought out the fine textures so well, and those claws indeed look fierce,
I like the close and personal approach, and the foot is standing out sharp and well defined against the background. I also think the exposure is very good.
The tight cropping works well and the foot is well placed within the frame. Indeed a special and great looking photo, and with a very good DOF.

Wow having never seen a grizzly bear in real life I am in awe of the size of his foot and wouldn't want to upset him with those claws. Awesome closeup allowing us to see the texture and detail clearly. :) Mary

Not really one of my favorites but the focus is sharp and clean clear up to the wrinkles. Not going to go into detail on this but the detail is good. The bottom of its foot must be tougher then rawhide. No cuts, no scratches but it could use a manicure. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! This bear was doing all kinds of baby like antics in the water. I had the same comparison of my grandson in mind when he started playing with his feet!
