Your choice of a dark background is perfect with the white subjects; it gives the image an added elegance that is very attractive. I like the various shades of genuine white. The fur on the kitty has rich texture and the details of the flowers are beautifully sharp.

I like her white as snow fur and concentrated look, the low key style of lighting and the added white Lily.
I have never seen a solid white cat.

Secondly, kudos for handling a very short scale contrast project so well.
The focus of the cat and the flower could not be any finer. Absolute high detail of all aspects of the cat and the flower.
I am really pleased by the way your lighting begins to fall off on the left and back. This gives the entire piece dimension. The objects appear more 3 dimensional as opposed to a flat appearance you might get with stronger light.
The frame is well composed. The positioning of the cat with the flower keeps spatial representation appropriate. Just enough background to keep the viewers eye focused on the subjects.
This is a good piece for the contest, good luck ... B-)) Bob

It's a good enjoyable scene and image! The composition is good and the image is sharp. I do feel though that it is too dark. Otherwise a good shot.
