I normally do not review pictures with a lot of mixed media, merely because I do not know how much skill is involved-so it is difficult for me to gauge them. However I can see the artistic worth of this without, the beautiful ribbons making the slightest patterns in the background, the delicate bouquet.. very sensitive..

These flowers look so good in black and white. The patterns jump right out from the petals. I think your work on the background is also very nice. The ribbon like wisps are attractive and I like hoe some of them resemble fabric and make me thing of music staves.

I always look forward to seeing the azaleas at the Masters Golf Tournament. We had some in our yard when I lived near Portland, OR. They look even more beautiful and delicate in B&W. The texture of the petals is shown off more. Your background is magical. Well done.

A fine entry for this contest. Thanks for entering. Your flower is well chosen for a B&W as there are many little details in an azalea that a viewer may not see. I like your post processing...a bit of flourish as she takes the stage. Good luck!
