I really like SCABIOSA....I grow it in my gardens as well and I think this was quite imaginative of you to use it as a base for your Easter greeting...lol..love the Bunny waving and your little red Ladybug strutting into the image.

My pleasure Cleo....and I am OC about the plants I grow in my gardens. I have researched them all.....I really like the little SCABIOSA. I read somewhere recently that they've developed a new color variety....haven't seen them anywhere yet. It's supposedly a much darker purple. Sounds nice!

wouldn't it be nice mixed in w/ the lavender ones like you have here in your photo?? Those are the same ones I have. My spring batch of flower catalogs have started arriving the past couple of weeks. I need to look through those to see if I see the new variety of SCABIOSA. I'll let you know if I find them.

Haha a lovely, light hearted Easter card, with the ice combination of photo and cartoon. The 2 characters are fun and fit in well to the scene of these lovely purple flowers, with great DOF and decent clarity. Good work and happy (belated) Easter!!

a great compilation, featuring many various details and focusing on the very delightful, nature aspect. two of the most happy and feelgood characters (can be spotted). every piece is very well and perfectly balanced, in this beautiful, easter presentation. also worth a mention is the feeling of a memorable spring.
