I love my Tam 90, why, because it gives me this kind of quality and it's fast.
Your combination of camera and lens is well suited for this take. Your settings are excellent for this capture.
The DOF is just right. All aspects of the geese are sharp, clear and crisp. I like that you kept most of the far background in soft focus, it adds greatly to the overall eye appeal of this composition.
Color range and balance compliment each other very well.
Overall a really good photo with a story to tell ... B-)) Bob

What beautiful geese. I'm used to seeing Canadian geese. I'm not sure what kind these are. Is that a loon in the water? I like the way the light is hitting the water top left. Nice composition and focus.

It is a family idyll, I guess. Those two seem to look for a good place to build their nest. Your photo has wonderful natural colors. Your focus was spot on those birds, has a fine dept and is nicely framed.

Good photo of these geese. Great overall clarity and closeness show off the details in their feathers and markings. Nice setting, perfect natural sun lighting. The shrub in the background is slightly distracting but I didn't dock any points for it.
