Very nice first impression. I like the composition and the side view. The background is nicely done. The expression on your grandson's face is great. I Like Ben the Bear.

Just knew this must be your Grandson...before I even opened it...honestly, it looks like it was taken by someone who loves this little boy very much.
...and your Thomas ...lol...looks as if he loves his little Ben very much too. What a perfect size he is! I think your quite full suitcase ended up being a very good thing. I love the side view presentation (as well as Thomas' chubby little hand!) Focus is wonderful....every bit of your image beautifully detailed. Natural color throughout and I think your timing- catching Thomas looking up at something- just could not be better. It is well exposed and changing the background color to one who's tonal variations go so well w/ Thomas was another perfect choice.
He looks like such a sweet little guy....and you have done up this photo of him just beautifully. I wish you the best w/ it in the contest.

How did you get him to stay in profile? That works so well. The focus is nice and sharp. I like the way the tones of the shirt blend with the background, allowing his face to really stand out as a warm glow.
