What a fantastic view from here. Just looking at the chilling pile of ice makes me shiver. I cannot imagine living in such a cold climate. But maybe seeing this from afar is worth it. This is a remarkable shot and you captured it perfectly.

This is a really cool photo. Why does the water look so white? Is that the sand itself---Okay, yeah must be. Beautiful colors and the white of the snow contrasts the dark blue of the water. The white or light colored sand is a sharp division, the birds are a nice touch.

Where do you live; I'm guessing Alaska, or the Netherlands, Iceland, or Greenland. Or Russia, China--I don't know. But I love your professional looking photo!

Lots of angles and textures create interest in this almost monochromatic scene. One would almost think this is set in Alaska. Beautiful and cold at the same time. Good job of toning down the white in such a sunny circumstance.

A beautiful picture of the broken ice blocks lying up against the rocks while the Gulls search a long the water's edge for their next meal. The sapphire blue sky reflected on the sea contrasts beautifully with the white of the ice. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Your camera settings are spot on for a tough circumstance. I mean shooting in very bright light is not easy. You did a remarkably good job with this take.
The color range and lighting of the take are well balanced and contribute nicely to the overall eye appeal of your composition.
DOF is excellent for the subject matter. There is strong detail across the entire image.
Given the amount of bright white in the foreground the White Balance is fine. Your adjustments for brightness in post capture were not very drastic as there is still a lot of detail in the far ice.
The framing of this composition is not cluttered and speaks well of the subject matter.
If I may, I would suggest acquiring a circular polarizing lens for your favorite lens. This will help control the effects of bright sunshine, it will make blue skies a deeper blue and reduce glare.

A superbly positioned and nicely taken photo of an almost abstract scene, showing the icy edge of the shore with birds brave & tough enough to bathe there! lovely crisp sugar cube like lumps of ice dominate the foreground creating a good DOF and good perspective overall on this unusual and fascinating photo.

nice capture of the ice and the water, but the rocks on the foreground are a bit of distraction, since they pull my eyes from the main subject - the ice
