Good job with this. I have never seen this one. I was looking for them the last time I was in Florida but only saw the egrets. I did see several birds I had never seen which was a pleasure. I got to see the sand hill cranes with their baby.

Ha! Well this bird is unique and VERY rare for anyone to find. I believe you and I have the only postings of this rare unique Great White Heron.
I love seeing a Great blue Heron turned white with that blue lore.
EXCELLENT eye clarity, fine DOF and great details in this superb close up of a Heron most have never seen nor knew existed.
Next year we search for the Reddish Egret morph... It's white!

He is a grand looking fellow. I love the profile. I think it shows the form of the head best and is always flattering to the subject. Great colors and fine detail throughout but especially in the eye.
