Beautiful portrait of this Tiger getting a drink. Your framing is good and I like the close up of this gorgeous creature. Your focus sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of this tiger, and both the exposure and white balance are perfect. The details on the fur and makings so beautifully done. This is very nice work and thanks for sharing!

Icy water sounds so good right about now ;)

Great colors and visual Grace.

Details are awesome and love that clarity as well. Very well done.

He certainly looks laid back :)

Yes, he certainly does look parched! Like your up close central composition giving us a fine look at the scene. Sharpness and exposure are good. Well done!

Thank you Fred. I have been using this camera for a few months. Took a little time to get used to it, but I think I'm liking it so far. I am partial to Canons so I wasn't sure if I would like it. Thank you for the nice review :)

I hope this is not it's only drinking option tho! Great photograph with good positioning & unusual posture of this beautiful beast. Good contrast with the other colours, I just hope it wasn't desperately thirsty!

Don't worry - he has lots of fresh water to drink. I think he is like most cats and prefers to go in search of his water and drink form the puddles and streams in his environment.
One of my cats does that. He wants water from the faucet in the sink or tub more than from his dishes! Well, he does have one dish that he favors because he knows I put it there just for him - near the bathroom! They are humorous creatures.
Thanks for the nice review :)

Haha ah good. I didn't think you'd be photographing animals in distress don't worry! Yeah some of my dogs only drink from the bowl outside (even if it's been poured ages ago and a new one put down inside) and some prefer the delicacy of the freshly flushed toilet. Weird and wonderful aren't they, animals!!

An eyeCATching capture with matching informative notes.
Dynamic diagonal framing with ample space for movement.
Sharply focused still motion shot. Well lit.
Long DOF.
Thanks!

That is a big cat! I like the way you cropped the photo and we get a really good look at the tigers stripes on his head and the details on the face. The paws on him look massive! Great photograph.

Not a very regal pose for this imposing subject. The shot is very nicely composed and the action is well captured. Great colors and excellent detail in his fur.

Thank you! I have another one that isn't very regal as well that I think I might post! He's rolling on his back like a domestic kitty.

Great timing to show the tongue in the water. The colors are beautiful and the details on the tiger are sharp and clear. I like how you conposed the photo showing the head and paws close up.
