Hi Nikman, "Dramatic" is exactly what this is! It really is hard to believe there are rock formations like this. I bet you can't see this any other way than by air or standing on an observation point. This shot is absolutely amazing! Love the angle it was shot from along with the lighting and focus! WOW! :o) Helvi

I am not expert enough to say whether shots like this can be taken from other locations than our observation point. I was also lucky that the afternoon light was good. It is always nice to see alternate approaches. The colour and forms really speak here.I also like the gentle overflow of the forms which seems to lead the eyes all around the canyon! Thanks for sharing!

Pretty amazing when all of the colors are seen. This would make an interesting abstract painting too. I love the striations running vertically and the highlights of the landforms running the other way. Very nice.
