And what a display it is. I love the way his feathers are displayed against the vibrant green background. Perfect DOF for this shot, and interesting angle as well. You caught him just right for us to see the red on his beak and his intense eyes.

I like how well the colors on the bill stand out as well as the color of the feet. His plumage is also lovely and the wispiness of those aigrettes are always nice to see.
