I think the swirls and background reflection in this design are attractive. The back flower has a mirror image quality to it that gives the scene more depth and the thin lower portion of the heart shaped swirls behind the front flower make that mirror and depth effect stronger.

I think I am beginning to like daffodils due to Mark's humorous drawings of them. I was in the store and saw a miniature version in a small pot for Easter.
But..I figured it was cruel to buy it just for photo ops knowing my black thumb would kill two days later. LOL
It's always fun to see your creative approaches and use of layers and filters. Your work always sets the bar for the rest of us.
Fine color, Great placement within the frame, love the earth tone background color and your creative artistic use of filters.

I don't know why I love daffodils so much maybe it's because they are the first spring flower and they don't disappoint always come up year after year. I like this unique and creative approach and post-processing techniques used on this daffodil. Nice is the focus and details captured on your original flower. So beautiful how you reproduced it using different techniques and nice is your use of light and shadows creating depth. Great way to portray this beautiful daffodil. Mine are in bloom as well and love taking photos of them, however, i have not experimented with them like this. Great framing and coloring. I love that little swirl you have in the background also. Well done

Once again I am amazed by your creativity. This colorization is so wonderful. The yellow shade is dispersed all throughout the entire area without being blinding. You use the color to direct the eye to one spot but use the same color in degrees to create interest and keep the viewer looking around to spot other secrete images. Well done.

Nice work. I enjoy watching what you will do next. This is very interesting and is not over done. I like it and I am sure others will too. I have taken several shots of the wild flowers around home but now they are done blooming as there is a very short window.

Very pretty interpretation of the daffodil. I like the many different layers and what almost looks like ribbon flowing behind the petals. The small blocks on the furthest back flower stand out a little differently.

This is interesting. A daffodil partly doubled and a sister blossom behind checkered translucent silk. What an unusual idea. I like the harmony of colors and the 3D effect archived with skilfully applied mixed media effects.
