Clear, bright colors and sharp focus of subject. These apple blossoms look similar to the wild cherry blossoms I've seen. Good use of DOF. Only drawback is that the background is the same green as the leaves, which makes them a little hard to distinguish. But the blossoms are absolutely gorgeous.

A beautifully composed shot in superb soft light. I like the texture of the petals and the sharp stamens. The colors are excellent. Best of luck in the contest.

What a pretty little shot, nicely presented with clear, sharp definition of the subject, well composed against an aptly diffused backdrop allowing the subject full enhancement.

Awesome shot of the apple tree blossoms. Good job cropping and focus on the blossoms. I like the vivid colors and details in the petals and buds with the background out of focus. Great photograph!

Your camera settings are spot on perfect for this lovely sprig of blossoms. I live in New England as well and these are so welcomed when they bloom.
The color range and lighting of the take are well balanced and contribute nicely to the overall eye appeal of your composition.
DOF is excellent for the subject matter. There is strong detail across the entire image. Really like the background bokeh. The soft colors tells me there is more in the behind this one.
The framing of this composition is gorgeous, all the leaves are visible and complete. The blossoms cross the frame in a gentle shallow arc, and all is supported of the visible and sharply detailed branch.
My only regret is that I don't have another 6, this one deserves it.
