Your hand looks as if it is treasuring the candle light! Your central composition is very appropriate for your quite subtle scene. Sharpness and exposure are good. Well done!

I like how you have done the background. I have used zoom effects before but for other things, I have not thought of using it for backgrounds. I think I will practice using it.
This is not your best work but I like it.

I like the low key style and the ambient light the candle offers. I have Always been drawn to your work because of your ability to use light in the best way. It's majestic, Beautiful and oh so Loverly on every piece you post here.
The light and the reflective Colorful glow that radiates out is truly lovely.

Aesthetic set up.
Creative concept with a great initial impact.

Innovative approach with a an ideal Oriental color combination.
Imaginative presentation.

Is that slight tilt intentional?

Dramatic subtle illumination.
Nicely framed.
Selective focusing with the candle holder interior being the sharpest.

Thanks!

A well positioned central photo showing the candle in this brass palm beautifully, with good use of effects to create a radiant effect against the well chosen grey background. The clarity is great and brings out the colours superbly - lovely shot.

The light of truth in the hands of Diogenes.

Now, your use of post capture software enhancements definitely adds character and mood to this simple piece. The variations of color radiating from the bowl are soft and pleasant to behold.

The colors are strong and not over blown.

Overall detail is sharp and even across the entire take.

The black background provides a striking contrast to the candle flame.

this is a very interesting and subtle piece ... B-)) Bob

Oh how neat Annie. I just love the way you give your images that "Annie" look with the extra swirls, rays, bubble, and you name it. This is a great image Annie. This would be a wonderful contest entry. Thanks so much for sharing your skills and talents ~ Steve

A lovely composition of a lovely ornament. It reminds me of the candles in large cathedrals...not all with the hands...but near statues with praying hands.

Your rays of light are always a wonder to behold. And your framing is most complimentary to your subject. Colors are true and lighting is as well...nothing blown out! :D Had to include that..pun intended! A lovely work!
