The colours are exactly as they are in reality this is a Wild Lilac, not a more colourful hybrid.

A very fine shot. The image is artfully cropped and I like the natural background. The color of the blossoms is beautiful and I imagine the scent is on a par with the view.

Thanks a million for your great review on my Lough Gara Lilac.
It's difficult to get a picture of the bush on it's own because it's behind my Mulberry & Smoke Tree. I can taken pictures from my bedroom but that only shows part of the canopy. The scent is wonderful

Thanks a million for your great review & kind words. I just stuck the slip I took in a pot & forgot it. Was about to throw it out when I noticed 2 new leaves. Kept repotting for 2 years before planting it in its' present place.
