Oh Man, Grace, you nailed it!

Look at that tongue, I would never have guessed it looked like this.

Wonderful clarity and great pose!! wish I had a six left for this one.

Grace,
A beautiful portrait of this protesting Canada Goose voicing her opinion of you showing us the details of her tongue & beak & the sparkle in her eye. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

What a great close-up! And thanks for the information and explanation of why you took this. Good strong composition, with sharp focus. Capturing the goose with mouth open makes this almost a humorous shot: "What are you looking at?" "Get out of my face!" I can almost hear the goose.

Cool!
That's the sort of specialized Reptilian tongue that a number of Paleontologists theorize that herbivorous grazing dinosaurs like the Hadro
saurs ( the types commonly called 'duck billed dinosaurs' ) probably possessed!
That's an interesting portrait picture,Grace! 'Good Show'!

I am sure that is true! Many ducks and geese have this kind of tongue.
Thank you for having a look!

I like how you captured the closeness of this goose, down to the inside of it's mouth. It is interesting to see the textured tongue. Nice shot and glad you didn't get bit.

Good artists notes and good storytelling! Your title is great and fits this image perfectly. I love that you filled your frame with this goose and how interesting the spikes on their tongue. Superb eye clarity and I love the expression on his face priceless. A well taken photo with a good depth of field. This is very nice work and thanks for sharing!
