A beautiful bird in full display. The colors are very nice and I like the detail in the eye as well as the crown. The tight framing is great but the background is a bit distracting. I know that there is likely nothing that can be done about it.

Wow. What a beautiful image of this elegant bird. The details and sharp exposure really make the image pop. The colors are well rendered. I like the subtle lighting on the tips of the crown. The background enhances the overall scene. Very well done my friend ~ Steve

omg...never seen a pigeon like this before and to be related to the Dodo is pretty cool. I can see the correlation there ! You have presented this perfectly within a good structure with a slightly diffused background allowing the subject to display his crest to its full potential

Thank you so much! I really wanted the crown to stand out, and it amazing how difficult it is to get the white tips at the right angle to get them to show up clearly. I'm glad you like it and that it is something new and different :)
