Vibrant capture despite the cloudy day!
Informative artists notes.

(Perhaps I'm one of those few who read it from start to finish!)

They're like gleefully singing their hearts out with a song of jubilation!

Fine floral design features & velvety smooth textures.

Impressive bokeh backdrop is visually appealing.
Nice perspective & narrow DOF.
Sharply focused.
Perfect framing!
Well lit.
Thanks for sharing...

    Cloudy days are the best Dick...for photography anyway. Thanks so much for having a look at my new post. Do appreciate it.

    But for my iPad, the colors are boring, gray & dreary...

Love the color esp. the yellow; the flowers really stand out; great focus on the flowers; good green and bluish background; the green stems and leaves kind of create a border; good pic; nice work. Keep going!

    Thought you might enjoy this color here swimmer. They got snowed on a bit this morning...lol...hard to believe huh. Just a little and it didn't stick but these guys look just a tad bedraggled this afternoon. A little sunshine would help! Thank you so much for having a look and for sharing another of your gold stars w/ my little spring flowers. I really do appreciate it.

These are sooo pretty. I like how their heads bow down. Beautiful, colorful flowers and background. Great clarity and dof. I also like how they are centered almost filling the frame. Good lighting and framing. Nice work. ~Alveria

    Oh how good to see you Alveria! I like the little bowed head too but it does make them hard to appreciate....that's why I was thinking in a flower pot next year. Plus...lol...my dog kept walking on me while I was lying on the ground trying to get this shot! Thank you so much for the really wonderful review and especially for sharing one of your gold stars w/ these guys. I really do appreciate it.

never seen these flowers; they have a similar shape as "lily of the valley" (Convallaria majalis) offered as a gift on May 1st in Europe;
perfect central framing with pin sharp focus;

    Good eye sg. They ARE part of the 'Lily' family...albeit, a not very well known one. I only added a few of them to my gardens several years ago. The 'Crown Imperial' (my favorite) should blossom w/in a few weeks. Can't wait to see what you have to say about THAT one! Thank you so much for checking out these guys....and for the lovely review you've given them. Do appreciate it.

How did this veritable midget make it into your garden of giants?

These many multicolored blossoms in sharp focus backed up by the soft pastels of the background provide great initial impact.

The frame is cropped just enough so that the viewers attention will not wander or be distracted.

Your manual settings are precise and without issue.

Thanks for sharing ... B-)) Bob

    lol....I know Bob....the 'little guys' have to fight hard to be noticed in my gardens. These little guys do it by showing up while the 'big guys' are still shaking off winter and trying to get it together. '...the early bird...' deal works for them! Thanks so much for checking them out and for giving them a really lovely review. Always appreciate it!

Every time I review your work, I learn something. These are charming flowers, so fancy with their two contrasting colors. And you certainly worked to get this great shot. You couldn't have done any better unless you were an ant with a camera!

    ahahahaha...love that Anne....'...an ant w/ a camera' Didn't see any of them when I was sprawled on the ground trying to get this shot but my dog kept walking on me....lol ...she even dropped her ball right on my head. She is NOT always very patient when I have my camera in hand. Makes me VERY happy to hear you say you learn something from my notes. Thank you so much for that and, of course, for the lovely review too. Do appreciate it!

Wow. What a beauty. I love the way you have captured this clump of Michael's with the nicely saturated colors and sharp focus and details. Perfect background. Great job my friend. Just wondering....When oh When will you Finally showcase "Steve's Flower". It is Fabulously Famous, at least in My mind and would be The Crown Jewel in your garden. Just kind of wondering Deb ; )

I Love your works Deb ~ Steve

Keep your eye's open 'ole buddy and thank you so much for the wonderful review you gave 'Micheal's Flower'

A lovely shot of this beautiful flower (or bunch) taken with great clarity and bringing out the wonderfully vivid violet colours with the yellow tips on the petals, and even the stamen on one or two for a 360 view!! brilliant DOF and great lighting, a really nice picture of these amazing flowers.

There's are quite beautiful! I've never seen these kind of flowers before. Very nicely centered in the frame and lovely, bright light shows off the vivid color variations. I also like how you give details of the flowers that you shoot :-) Beautiful!

    lol....wowzaaaaah. Just love it Debi when the first review for a new piece is so upbeat and positive. Your 'wowzaaaah' is that and then some! Yup...these little guys just scream 'It's SPRING', don't they! They got snowed on a little this morning so your wish a post or two back came true...lol Didn't stick though...thank God so we're all good. Anyway Debi- thank you for a marvelous review AND a shiny gold star! I do appreciate both.
