Your camera settings are admirable. I have never been happy with my Luna shots. Your post capture processing is the stuff of genius - Kudos.

The color range and lighting of the take are well balanced and contribute nicely to the overall eye appeal of your composition.

DOF is excellent for the subject matter. There is strong detail across the entire image.

The framing of this composition is not cluttered and speaks well of the subject matter.

Thanks for sharing ... B-)) Bob

Good camera techniques along with good post-processing. Your compositional skills are excellent and creative. Your background accentuates the moon beautifully and the tree is a nice touch. I like your use of light and shadows and depth. Indeed a well taken photo with good post-processing skills. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Susan!
I wasn't too concerned about the image's title but I really really like the image itself! : )
It's got the sort of pleasantly mysterious and almost eerie look about it that always appeals to me!
'Great Show',my friend!

Fabulousooooooooooo... :-)) There is such wonderful technical power in the exposure. That moon perfectly captured. Great color, fabulous lighting as well. Love the artistic moment with the tree top in the scene. Wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

What a perfect photo of the moon. I like how you put the tip of the tree in to show the height. The night is light enough to accent the moon even more.

Before reading your notes I wondered what the light source for the silhouette of the tree could be. Considering the subject I would say this is a very colorful shot.

    Mike,
Thanks a million for your great review.
The sky was not this dark...in reality the light behind the tree was sunlight filtering through the hedgerow & trees on the right.

Seems like you did quite a lot work to get this final image! It works pretty well for me. Looks like a pretty normal night time photo. Well done!

It was still day light but to get both photos to match I had to darken them.

This photograph make me think of one of my favorite children's book. Grandfather Twilight written and illustrated by: Barbara Burger. He takes nighty walks to place the moon in the sky. It is a beautiful photograph that you have shared. Thank you. Pam

Good photo! I like that you put it together like it was one picture. Maybe you could write the nursery rhyme under it and make a poster. :D
Good day to you!

    The Man in the Moon,
    Came down too soon,
And asked his way to Norwich,
He went by the south & burnt his mouth
    By eating cold Peas porridge...
