as I am 76yrs old in a few days, I really like this message. I think it might be cultural, but I have come back from super jobs all over the place when my parents needed me /only child/ though my ex did everything he could to break the bond, then dumped us in a new city penniless. I think children in the West are too careless of their parents, however it has been explained to me that it is a special british thing. They have them, enjoy them, then turf them out at 18 yrs old and just meet at christmases. That's what makes them strong, and able to leave for anywhere in the Empire without a care in the world. Not our way at all.

perception is in the family..not the race or nation of people..meaning other families are as close as yours and will seem alien. the view of the constant changing by age was repeated when we were young. how many times were told how things were different in the grandparents days? wink..thanks for the good review.

well anyway our former empire /Austro hungarian/ were all neighbouring countries, so no need to toughen up to leave forever. My favourite author is Somerset Maugham and when you read him you understand..

This turned out very well just like your other illustrations related to this theme. The eyes of the insect, if looked at from a certain angle, almost resemble diamonds. I like that the background is black. It almost looks like they are in a void of space. Very cool!

actually your correct. i know you came into the middle of the story, but he is a golden dragonfly with diamond eyes. i think i have mentioned to ya that i have done 19 illustrated music videos that is on Youtube.com didnt I? well this time im not only doing something a lil different but also creating history for this website. i gave the idea of FlowerPower to Rasmine from Fanstory which took the story and created this childrens novel titled "adventure of flower power" has 13 chapters now..now to help promote this and try to get a publisher to notice i enlisted from another collaborator Bryan Taylor from Fanmusic.com. him and i have done 3 other music videos before. he wrote a very cool foot stomping music to go with this video. so here is the history..the 1st collaboration from 3 people from all 3 Fan websites on one story. i just posted another title "Group Hug" which the artist notes will give a lil insite of the current video. glad ya like and thanks for the great review.

The details are wonderful, and I like how you made the background completely dark so that the memory of the flower helping the ant stand out.
